The Surfers Journal -
http://www.surfersjournal.com/
Now in our 18th year, The Journal was founded in 1992 by Debbee and Steve Pezman, who prior to that had spent eight and twenty-one years respectively at the helm of Surfer magazine. Begun as a quarterly and progressing to its current bi-monthly frequency in 2002, The Journal concept is a specialized hybrid, a cross between a book and a magazine, using a higher quality paper and printing, is content driven with restricted availability, and is reader supported (as opposed to advertising), a concept that is unique in the periodical publishing world. This strategy leaves us free to tell the truth and explore the peripheries while emphasizing purist non-commercial aspects that are at the core of wave riding.

Your Local Surf Magazine
http://www.yourlocalsurf.com/
Welcome to the first surf mag that you will never have to buy!
YLS MAG (Your Local Surf Magazine)is a completely free online surf magazine! Designed by surfers for surfers,we spent a few hours with our collective heads in a guide to web design for dummies and came up with this online surf mag you see above!Unlike other online surf mags out there, YLS is purely about fun and surfing, we aren’t here to tell you what is cool, who is great or what you should like; we are just going to show you a bunch of stuff we found and thought was worth sharing!
We aren’t artsy, we arn’t elioqunt…elliphant…elle…urm…good with the words, but we are SURFERS and who better to make a surf mag than a bunch of froth fiends with a case of beer close by!

It’s your local…It’s our local…
THANKS FOR DROPPING IN!

Seas at Risk
www.seas-at-risk.org
Seas At Risk aims at the protection and restoration of the marine environment, and specifically the waters of the North East Atlantic including the North and Irish Seas. While the work of Seas At Risk reaches into every corner of concern about the marine environment, and while we regularly work on a multitude of different marine environmental issues, there are some basic principles that transcend individual issues and guide the direction of our work.

Oregon Beach Monitoring Program
www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/beaches/index.shtml
The Oregon Beach Monitoring Program monitors the waters along Oregon's coastline for the presence of fecal bacteria, and reports elevated levels to the public. Marine waters are tested for enterococcus, which is an indicator of the presence of other bacteria. Enterococcus is present in human and animal waste and can enter marine waters from a variety of sources such as streams and creeks, storm water runoff, animal and seabird waste, failing septic systems, sewage treatment plant spills, or boating waste.

Surfers Against Sewage
http://www.sas.org.uk/
Surfers Against Sewage's Protect Our Waves (POW) campaign is dedicated to the protection of surf spots. POW recognises the social and economic benefits of surf spots, to both the surfing and wider communities. POW will strive to protect surf spots from unacceptable levels of environmental impact, impacts on wave quality and recreational water users right of access. SAS will use their 20 years campaign experience, expertise and contacts to ensure the POW campaign is heard at the highest levels of Government down to local decision makers. SAS will work with, and where necessary, against NGOs and developers to ensure surf spots get the protection they deserve.

SurfWa
www.surfwa.org
This site has evolved out of SurfWa's own hunt for regional up-to-date surfing information: straight from the sources and without the unnecessary fluff. The “rating system” surf reports don’t do the job, so SurfWa was born. With experience surfing the Northwest from Oregon to Vancouver Island, they understand that, on any given day, the truly great waves only last a few hours. An oversimplified surf report is not going to get you where you need to be when you need to be there.
Understanding the variety of elements that contribute to surf conditions is integral to the experience of Northwest surfing. SurfWa has formed a detailed surf report with realtime data from buoys, weather stations and forecasting tools; so you can find the conditions that best suit you.  SurfWa is a homegrown waverider's resource. SurfWa hopes that they can help make your next surf trip a fulfilling one.
Respect,Protect, Enjoy! SurfWa

Seven Brides Brewery
http://www.sevenbridesbrewing.com
The name “Seven Brides” actually came from the dads’ kids. Between the three of them, they have only daughters. With the rising cost of wedding nuptials, the guys decided they needed to sell enough beer to pay for their daughters weddings. Each of the girls has a beer named after her.
